REMARKS:
HMS Illustrious, affectionately known as "lusty" to Matelobs, docks at Liverpool, for what will more than likely be the last time; as she is due to be decommissioned in 2014; ending the tenure of the Invincible class aircraft carriers; that have served at the forefront of the  Royal Navy for over 30 years.  With such proud history on display, spotters were out in numbers- anoraks aplenty; and Sam was on hand to capture the action. Many thanks to her for her contribution.

REMARKS:
Taken when on a ship visit with college. It was a very cold day, and I wasn't expecting to see any ship spotters, never mind three!  You can imagine my joy, when a fellow student said "Look, ship spotters" - the joy increased as I seen them approach from the distance. My first ship spotter spot; hopefully the first of many.
